ASSIGNMENT 3
1. What does the video say about how media influence works on individual people?
The media cultivates and forms ideas in our minds that manipulate our actions and behaviors. Advertisements in videos or newspapers, for instance, make us believe that the product they're selling is the best even if it isn't. Also, editors in their articles focus on certain topics that influence our ways of thinking on it. We are framed to tell the stories we read or hear in a certain manner that we give the bad guy or good guy role to certain people without considering others.
2. What is your favorite fact pointed out in the video? Explain why this fact is important or interesting to you?
My favorite fact pointed out in the video is that facebook added over 200 million people in a year. i find this interesting because compared to other social medias it is extremely succesfull. the number of people on this network is larger than some small countries. we are all connecting through facebook.
3. How is multimedia effecting our daily lives? Do you think there such a thing as "too much media" in our lives?
It affects us socially because we are depending on the web to communicate. we no longer encourage person to person conversations its all messages. we may be more connected to each other but the quality of relationships is diminishing. people are less 'social'.

1. The media that I use everyday includes: cellphone, television, radio, Facebook, Tumblr, Twitter and internet.
2. I have used my cellphone and the computer for school assignments. It is very important to use these things for research and investigation.
3. It is considered multimedia because it has pictures, links, video etc.
4.Time-based media depends on time. Static media is a still image.
Time-based media: movies
Static media: newspaper

I like apple a lot. It is multimedia because it is technological.
6. Adobe flash- Adobe Flash is a multimedia and software platform used for authoring of vector graphics, animation, games and rich Internet applications that can be viewed, played and executed.
Programming languages-a language designed for programming computers
Scripting language- Programming language that adds functionality to a web page. Examples are: Javascript, PHP, Perl and C++.
Interactivity- used especially of drugs or muscles that work together so the total effect is greater than the sum of the two (or more)
Pixel- a minute area of illumination on a display screen, one of many from which an image is composed.
